The new cadets have to wash all the aircraft on Sunday afternoons. The older pilots sometimes take their jets "mudding" on Saturday night just to be ornery.

This was a full stop, the pilot ejected and landed in the mud, his seat pan sank into the muck and he had a hard time getting out, it was during a change of command, and he had a full croud to witness it.

This aircraft was on its way to the museum at Quantico. No trap gear set up on the 4237 ft runway, landed long and just to complete the day suffered complete brake failure. The aircraft is now on display at the museum.
