2002: Stepping Up Selling my Tiger and Buying an SR22 Last updated
As far back as the last half of 2000 I had been thinking of stepping up from the Tiger. Not to slight Tigers, they are great planes. But, I expected to be doing more long traveling and also wanted more modern avionics. In March 2002 I fell into an opportunity to buy an SR22 purchase contract for a May delivery. I did it! But before I did, I arranged to fly in an SR22 owned by Ed Rawlings and based at Butler field near Pittsburgh. Rob and Ann Logan flew down with me and snapped some photographs...	Photo by Rob or Ann.
