When: Late morning Saturday June 26th. This fly-in is a go only if the weather is MVFR or better. Check this web page before departure for any last-minute updates. On arrival, we will meet and mill around the KBKL terminal and its International Women's Air & Space Museum displays. At 11:50 we will all walk next door to Hornblower's for our 12:00 lunch.
Where: Cleveland's pretty airport, Burke Lakefront Airport, BKL, and the Cleveland harbor. Meet in the terminal at the International Women's Air & Space Museum displays. At 11:50 we will walk off for Lunch at Hornblower's Barge & Grill.
Why: For the fun of it and for a chance to check out the "other" plastic planes. Also, the Cleveland lakeshore attractions provide a better than usual excuse for a fly-in. Take advantage of the proximity of the USS COD, the William G Mather, the Science Center, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and downtown Cleveland. The only down side is BKL's $5.00 parking fee, it's a city thing :-( If you want to make a night of it, try the Holiday Inn Select City Centre Lakeshore, just a short walk from everything.
